On 28 November 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00 (room 24, via Sarfatti 25, Milan), the Centre for Research on Geography, Resources, Environment, Energy & Networks (GREEN) of Università Bocconi will host the workshop “Smart green-space management for resilient, sustainable and liveable cities”.
Green areas offer crucial ecosystem services for urban environments, from reducing the urban-heat-island effect and absorbing greenhouse gases and air pollutants, to fostering social interaction and physical activity.
This workshop will explore leading-edge approaches in the planning, management and use of urban green spaces, with a special focus on innovation in digital technologies, management practices and emerging business models.
R3GIS will attend to share its expertise in urban green-space management: from operational support to strategic planning, from efficiency improvement to enhancing citizen well-being.
We invite you and your team to register for this free workshop.
By participating you will:
gain insight into how urban green spaces contribute to mitigating heat islands, reducing emissions and promoting healthier communities;
discover technical and management solutions that support public authorities in cost-efficient maintenance, water saving and engaging citizens;
explore how digital technologies and innovative service models are shaping the future of urban green-space management.
We look forward to meeting you in Milan and discussing how GreenSpaces can support your strategy for managing urban green assets.
